Feedback From Staff

Cheam High School has a talented and dedicated staff.  Both support and teaching staff show pride and commitment to their role.  Our students benefit from their professionalism and their work in supporting students to achieve their best.

Each year, we ask for feedback from staff on various aspects of the work of the school.

Results from 2015/16 for staff employed on 1 September 2016 are shown below.  

100% of staff agreed that they are proud to be a member of staff at Cheam High School

100% of staff agreed that children are safe at this school

100% of staff agreed that the school deals with any cases of bullying effectively

98% of staff agreed that leaders do all they can to improve teaching

99% of staff agreed that the school successfully meets the differing needs of individual pupils

99% of staff agreed that they know what we are trying to achieve as a school

99% of staff agreed that the school is well led and managed

98% of staff agreed that students are provided with a wide range of positive experiences that enhance student development

100% of staff agreed that leaders provide clear support and guidance for Child Protection and child safety issues

We also ask for feedback from Middle Leaders each year and reults from 205/16 for staff employed on 1 September 2016 are shown below

96% of middle leaders agreed they receive excellent support, advice and guidance to help them in their role

96% of middle leaders agreed there is excellent communication between themselves and their line manager

96% of middle leaders agreed their line manager is readily available and encourages them to ask for help as they need it

100% of middle leaders agreed they receive practical advice and support to ensure high standards of behaviour

96% of middle leaders agreed their line manager holds them to account and challenges them to do their job to the best of their ability

96% of middle leaders agreed their weekly line management meetings are very helpful and enable them to do their job well

100% of middle leaders agreed their line manager provides opportunities for their own development

100% of middle leaders agreed their line manager encourages them to bring ideas forward and these are discussed

96% of middle leaders agreed their line manager works with them to provide a clear direction for now and the future

The school uses the feedback from this data to ensure improvements continue to be made in key aspects of school life and the results feed into the school develpment priorities for 2016/17.
