Food Tech Practical Success
Last week, Year 11 Food Tech students completed their practical cooking challenge which is a key part of their qualification. Students were tasked with producing two courses that demonstrated a high level of cooking and preparation skill, all of which needed to be produced from scratch. They also had to consider where their ingredients were sourced and how they could minimise the environmental impact of their dishes. Overall, the quality of cooking was very high with dishes spanning a wide range of cuisines. Well done to all involved.
