Isaac H, a Music Performance and Music Technology student in Year 12, travelled to Bristol at the weekend to compete in the UK National Beatboxing Championships at the Lost Horizon performance venue, performing five of his own compositions.

He got through the elimination rounds on Friday and progressed to the semi-finals on Saturday. Isaac was up against a 2019 semi-finalist, and Isaac took this year's semi-final with a resounding 3-0 decision from the international judges.

He then went on to compete in the final against the Vision Beatbox champion. It was a brilliant, close-run final, and Isaac is now the UK Beatbox Loopstation National Vice-Champion.
