Religious Education and Collective Worship

Religious Studies is part of the curriculum in the main school. Students are encouraged to develop an understanding of a range of religious beliefs. More information is available under the Curriculum area of the website.

Assemblies take place regularly and normally contain a moral and/or spiritual emphasis.

Whilst it is very rare for a student to be withdrawn from either school assembly or Religious Studies, parents/carers are reminded that they have the right to withdraw their child from all or part of the religious education or collective worship provided.

Any student withdrawn will be supervised by a member of staff for the duration of the time in either a classroom or quiet study area.
