Before the Easter holidays, a small group of Year 8 students were given the opportunity to visit the Royal Academy of Art to experience the Entangled Pasts Exhibition. The exhibition displayed a range of art exploring the theme of identity and multi-culturalism throughout British history.

Many famous artists were on display, such as Yinka Shonibare, Kara Walker and JMW Turner. Students enjoyed seeing and discussing the diversity of art styles with traditional, modern, abstract, sculpture, film and installation art all on display.

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and experiencing the artwork in person, coming away inspired about what is possible in Art.
