Perse Coding Team Challenge Victory!

Two Year 11 students achieved first place in the country amongst non-selective schools in the Perse Coding Team Challenge.

Cheam High School entered 19 teams in the first round and five qualified to continue to the second round with harder challenges. Each team was tasked with solving programming challenges in Python and had to submit them to be automatically scored based on requirements of the challenge.

The Perse Coding Team Challenge is an annual competition hosted by The Perse School in Cambridge. This year’s second round included 1700 students from 111 schools. This competition is very competitive and we are proud that two students achieved such excellent results in first place for non-selective schools.

Both students will receive a £20 Amazon voucher as a prize.
