Year 8 Puzzle Day
On Friday 5th May, Year 8 took part in some maths activities put together by a company called the Happy Puzzle Company.
The students were required to use logic skills and team work to solve a variety of puzzles.
The puzzles were designed not only to build on these skills but also to develop mathematical resilience and confidence, both important skills as they advance onto their GCSE course.
The students were very positive about the sessions and the presenter was also very complimentary about the enthusiasm shown by the students. She said that we should be very proud of our Year 8 students as their behaviour and attitude was excellent.
Well done to all of Year 8 for being fantastic representatives of our school.
