Year 11 Access Cards
Posted: 29/04/25

From Monday 2nd June, where Year 11 students have completed courses and taken all assessments/examinations, they will be given exam leave for these periods of the day to allow them to work at home and revise for their other exam subjects.
• Students will no longer attend tutor time.
• They will be allowed home during the day when they have Games lessons.
• Students will only need to attend lessons where the exam has not yet taken place, pre-exam revision sessions and exams
• If they wish to stay to take advantage of private study opportunities in completed courses, they will be able to do so and should simply attend these lessons as normal.
Students will be given their access cards so they are able to start using them from Monday 2nd June. If students are seen allowing others to use their card it will be voided and therefore not work. If students are shown to be not using their access cards responsibly, they will again have them removed and be required to remain in school for the entirety of the school day.
Full details, including how to pay for the Access Card deposit can be found in the 'Access Cards' letter from Mr Oswick, emailed to all parents/carers this week.
