Exam Results
Post 16 exam results for 2022:
- 11% of entries graded at A* or Distinction*
- 30% of entries graded at A*-A or Distinction*-Distinction
- 61% of entries graded at A*-B or Distinction*-Merit
- Some excellent individual performances, inc 3 students who achieved 3 AXs and another 16 who achieved 3 or more A/AX grades
- 43 students achieved at least 2 A or AX grades
- 58 students achieved a mix of at least 2 AX/A/DX/Di and 9 students gained 2 or more DX/Di grades
Progression 2022
This year we supported over 180 students apply to university and a number to Art/Drama/Music Colleges. Over 150 students accepted their firm choice and a further 10 accepted their insurance choice university. 29 students have started at a Russell Group University with a further 24 accepting a place at other prestigious universities.
A number of students seeking apprenticeships for 2022 were hugely successful including some securing higher and degree level apprenticeships. These included: Degree Apprenticeships in Chemistry, at Vodafone and with AWE; Production Planning Apprenticeship with Rolls Royce; Early Years Educator Apprenticeship; Dental Nursing Apprenticeship; and an Accounting Apprenticeship.

University destinations September 2022
The most popular university destinations were University of Portsmouth, University of Surrey, Loughborough University, Bournemouth University with King College London and Southampton being our favourite Russell Group universities.
The most popular courses include Accountancy and Finance, Business, Psychology, Politics and Biomedical Science.
