Interventions and support
The school supports student progress through the following ways:
- ongoing monitoring by all teachers of rates of progress, intervening where students are having difficulties or under-achieving
- whole school data collections with analysis of student attitudes and progress, followed by intervention when this is needed
- regular review meetings alongside other contact to track progress towards outcomes and evaluate interventions
- interventions through in class support, specialist programmes, withdrawal or individual mentoring
- referrals to external agencies for advice or action as appropriate
