Our Year 10 and Year 11 Prince’s Trust students had the opportunity to visit the Prince’s Trust Headquarters in London to participate in the Apple Enrichment course on Thursday 25th January.

It was excellent. Students were given the challenge of creating their own application. Shane had the excellent idea of a gaming application. Angel created a shopping reward application so when games were completed you were rewarded with shopping discounts. Freya created a dating application. All three presented their ideas confidently to the rest of the group. Frankie, Raphael, Harry, Ginny, Shane, Angel, Freya M, Lewis and Freya were an absolute credit to the school and it was fantastic to see how engaged they all were with the coding activity.

A huge well done to all the students and a massive thank you to the Prince’s Trust staff. We really enjoyed the day and this has helped all students to complete their Digital Skills unit for their Level 2 Personal Development and Employability qualification.
