Axiom Maths was buzzing this week as students took on the Sum-One Wins challenge!

Working enthusiastically in pairs, they explored number patterns, shared ideas, and challenged each other’s thinking to uncover which numbers 'go together'.

Through lively discussion and teamwork, students discovered hidden connections by testing sums and spotting square numbers - with lots of “Ohhh!” moments along the way. They then brought their thinking to life by creating colourful networks, using nodes and edges to represent their ideas and explain their reasoning clearly.

It was fantastic to see students thinking deeply, talking confidently about maths, and enjoying the excitement of discovering patterns together - exactly what Axiom Maths is all about!
