Year 12 Art Trip to the Southbank
On Thursday 4th October our Year 12 Fine Art students travelled to the Southbank to experience working outside the classroom, making real life observations of the city. The students had to work very quickly to a large scale with a range of media to produce a range of studies.
Now back in the classroom, these drawings are being used as a starting point for large scale paintings inspired by the artist John Virtue. The quality of these outcomes are fantastic and very mature responses to the subject matter.
We are very excited by the progress our students are making so quickly into the start of their course and look forward to seeing more of their work.
