On Tuesday 25th June, we had our annual Year 11 and Year 13 Art Exhibition, this year featuring Fine Art, Graphic Design and Photography work. The students have worked hard all year to create some fantastic work and it really shows!
The GCSE students were showing off their coursework on the themes of ‘Organic Structures’ in which they created beautiful clay sculptures and ‘Fragments’ which had a large variety of different outcomes such as painting, printing, textiles, and much more.
Their exam theme this year was ‘Reflection’, which again created a wide range of amazing different outcomes, no two of them the same.
In A Level the projects have varied from creating campaign posters in Graphic Design to a whole banquet of textile foods in Fine Art!
Their exam theme this year was ‘Variation and Similarity’ which involved outcomes of a range of greetings cards, hundreds of postcards and much more.
The exhibition took place in the New Hall and was filled with proud parents/carers, proud teachers and friends marvelling at the amazing range of work.
Well done everyone, you have done yourselves proud!
