#BioArtAttack 2020 Competition
The Royal Society of Biology’s annual BioArtAttack competition received a record 362 entries this year, which included digital art, models and paintings, depicting a huge variety of topics from across the biosciences.
Out of all those entries we are pleased to announce that two students from Cheam High School, Harry B 8MY and Jack W 8LW, progressed to the final 14 shortlist with their Models of: 'a Neuron Cell' and 'Bones of the Foot' respectively.
Harry made his neuron cell from clay, painted and mounted to the lid of a box with wire lights underneath.
Jack made his bones of the foot from wood, cardboard and newspaper, held together with string, glue, screws, papier-mâché and painted white.
There were so many students who created incredible artwork for this year's competition and we'd like to thank them all for their hard work and we look forward to seeing what our students create next year!
