Year 10 and 11 Fantastic Art and Photography Experiences
Students have been very lucky to experience more time working outside of the classroom which has been incredibly inspiring for them!
Before half term, Year 11 GCSE Photography students visited Brighton and, inspired by photographers they had researched, took hundreds of photographs. These images are now going to be used by them for creating and experimenting different ideas that they will explore in their new coursework project.
On Tuesday 16th November, Year 10 BTEC Art toured Brick Lane and Shoreditch and were blown away by the amazing street art. They will use these photographs within their own artwork, both for photographic experiments and for starting point of ideas for textiles.
Students have really benefitted from these visits and were incredibly polite throughout – a real credit to the school. We are very much looking forward to seeing their creative ideas develop!
