Reporting on Students' Progress
Welcome to Reporting at Cheam High School
We have a very thorough reporting system at Cheam High School and aim to keep parents and carers well informed of their child’s academic progress, attitude and behaviour in school.
Teachers and the Leadership Team place great importance on reporting to ensure that every effort is made to help students achieve their potential.
Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 7-11)
All students recieve a report each term which usually includes:
- Teacher prediction of progress against KIP (Key Indicator of Progress at Key Stage 4) target grades
- Effort, behaviour and homework grades
Key Stage 5 (Years 12-13)
All students recieve a report each term which includes:
- Teacher prediction of progress against target grades
- Effort, homework and attendance grades
There are regular Virtual Parents’ Evenings throughout this year where teachers will be available to discuss each report with parents and carers.
For any specific queries relating to your child’s progress, behaviour or attendance, please contact the relevant Year Teams.
